Position Embedded Systems Developer
Summary The Embedded Systems Developer is responsible for implementing Arxceo's core security technology on networked devices. The candidate must have strong experience in networking and communications on multiple platforms and operating systems, using multiple languages and development tools. Digital hardware design experience including FPGA programming using VHDL (preferred) or Verilog is also expected.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop Arxceo's networking security product technology for a range of operating systems and platforms
  • Perform daily coding, testing, and debugging network defenses in C
  • Ensure portability across a wide range of platforms
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation as needed
Qualifications Required
  • Five years of experience in software development for a range of platforms (Windows, Linux, embedded RTOS's), languages (C, C++, C#, assembly language, Java) and tools (Eclipse, Visual Studio, etc.)
  • Expert in IP-based networking including IPv4 vs IPv6, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, etc.
  • Understanding of network security and threats such as port scans, DoS attacks, MITM attacks, etc.
  • Experience with Linux kernel module and device driver development (particularly the Linux network internals)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline
Desired
  • Familiar with pair-key cryptography, authentication and authorization, SSL/TLS, SHA
  • Familiar with code validation tools (Lint, Coverity)
  • Familiar with automated test tools and network stack validation tools
  • Familiar with network test tools such as nmap and Wireshark

Position Quality Systems Manager
Summary The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for testing and quality assurance tasks throughout the Arxceo business unit. This includes overseeing and performing testing of all types (compliance, performance, functionality, compatibility, etc.). It also includes selection of testing tools, as well as defining specifications for developers to create in-house tools where commercially available testing capabilities do not exist. The candidate must have strong experience in networking and communications on multiple platforms and operating systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop test plans for Arxceo's networking security product technology for a range of operating systems and platforms
  • Select/recommend test tools that are suitable for Arxceo QA requirements
  • Execute test plans, record quantifiable results, and identify defects
  • Perform defect tracking and work with engineers to triage defects for repair
Qualifications Required
  • Expert in IP-based networking including IPv4 vs IPv6, TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, etc.
  • Familiar with automated test tools and network stack validation tools

Position Red Team Leader
Summary The Red Team Leader is responsible for ensuring Arxceo's products and services are robustly secure against malicious attack. Using the same tools and techniques that amateur and professional hackers would use, the Red Team Leader attempts to infiltrate Arxceo-protected devices and technologies, as well as Arxceo's public and private Web sites and Internet-based services. The Red Team Leader will work alongside of, but independently from, Arxceo's "blue team" quality assurance staff. The candidate must have strong experience in networking and communications on multiple platforms and operating systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute penetration test plans for Arxceo's networking security product technology for a range of operating systems and platforms
  • Create "clean room safe" pathogens for internal testing
  • Document pentest results and perform periodic regressions
  • Select/recommend test tools that are suitable for Arxceo pentesting requirements
  • Cooperate with QA and development team leads to create useful action plans that enhance Arxceo's defense capabilities
Qualifications Required
  • Thorough understanding of network security and threats such as port scans, DoS attacks, MITM attacks, etc.
  • Power user of network test tools such as nmap and Wireshark

Position Data Scientist, Ecosystem Monitoring and Management
Summary The Data Scientist for Ecosystem Monitoring and Management (EMM) is responsible for analyzing incoming reports from the Arxceo ecosystem, identifying pervasive security threats, and recommending and executing actions to defend our ecosystem. Candidates must have strong experience in networking and communications in addition to expertise in Big Data analysis. The Data Scientist will direct engineers in the construction of Arxceo's in-house data collection and analysis tools, and will also work closely with the embedded systems group to recommend future directions in the Arxceo client defenses. The Data Scientist will also work with our business partners to craft defense strategies and to give presentations explaining those strategies. An ideal candidate will have a background in computer science with an intensive focus on numerical methods such as genetic algorithms and neural networks, as well as an understanding of networking security issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review and recommend both mature and cutting-edge technologies for storage and analysis of ecosystem raw data
  • Analyze data received from the Arxceo ecosystem and identify new and emerging threats
  • Based on identified threats, recommend actions to improve Arxceo defenses
  • Direct engineers to produce Arxceo's internal tools and servers for ecosystem monitoring and device management
Qualifications Required

Summary The PHP/Web Developer is responsible for Arxceo's public and internal Web systems. The candidate must have strong experience with PHP and database operations using SQL. Ideal candidates should be able to recommend server hardware configurations as well as current and emerging tools and technologies for Web development.

  • Propose and design Web interfaces for diverse audiences and nationalities
